Who Am I?

And more importantly - who am I to help you? Because when you’re searching for a coach, that’s what you need to know.

So I’m Alice. I became a coach in 2021 after thinking about it for a long time. If you want to know how I ended up finally making the leap, feel free to ask and I’ll be more than happy to tell you. But I’m EMCC accredited after completing a diploma in Transformational Coaching. I’m also a Mental Health First Aider.

I work with people from all sorts of backgrounds and am determined to make my practice as accessible as possible. If you’re interested in coaching but are worried it ‘might not be for you’ - get in touch.

I’m originally a writer, but I became interested in coaching when I started to explore how people could use the arts to tell their story and how that could help them heal.

Over the last year or so, I’ve realised that coaching isn’t about having someone give you the answers (soz). It’s about giving yourself the space to explore what you need to and having someone on your side to ask you the questions you really need to be asked to help you figure out what’s going on in your mind. So that’s what you’ll get with me.

As a coach, my approach is holistic. You might come to me to chat about work, but we’ll look at the whole picture. I’m pretty laid back and have a bit of a potty mouth, so might accidentally drop the odd swear in while we’re chatting.

We’ll set goals for our time together and I might give you ‘homework’ but it’s on you if you want to do it or meet them. I’m not here to give you a hard time. We do that to ourselves enough. I’m just your humble guide, an inquisitive participant in your journey and your hearty cheerleader.

Sound good?
